About the Business Crime Group

The primary objective of the Business Crime Committee is to help London’s business community become more resilient to crime, while ensuring that private and public sector stakeholders take action to tackle business crime across the capital. We regularly run events with industry experts to keep our members up to date with the latest measures to protect their business from attacks. The Safer Business Network has launched a new initiative surrounding Violence on Women and Girls (VAWG) to encourage businesses to become a Safe Haven. They are looking for businesses that are willing to be a Safe Haven to help women with their onward journeys. Training to staff will be offered for free to enable the venue employees to feel confident in dealing with members of the public.

LCCI's Business Crime Committee

We have formed a Business Crime Committee focused on various types of business crime, including cyber security, fraud, policing issues and supply chain vulnerabilities. The committee is chaired by Claire Holford, Dispute Resolution and Defence and Security Partner at top-60 law firm Harrison Clark Rickerbys, and comprises members with experience and expertise in a variety of related disciplines.
