ACT in a BOX is an interactive exercising experience which enables businesses to rehearse and explore their response to fictional terrorist incidents at or near their premises. The fully interactive experience puts you at the heart of a scenario by allowing you to influence the content and decide what to do next. Throughout each exercise, participants will reflect on their own workplace arrangements and physically complete activities, recording key considerations within the experience.

Following Royal Assent for the Pedicabs (London) Bill, Karim Fatehi MBE, Chief Executive of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry said: “We are delighted to see that the Pedicabs (London) Bill, which will regulate the use of pedicabs in Greater London, has today been given Royal Assent."

A major co-ordinated operation in the City shows how police within the Square Mile are keeping businesses and workers safe from crime. The City of London Police organised a ‘Safer Business Action (SaBA) Day’ on Thursday 14 March, involving a range of operational and engagement activities. The day aimed to detect criminal activities and educate those living, visiting and working in the City about how to help prevent crime.

The Safer Business Network has launched a new initiative surrounding Violence on Women and Girls (VAWG) to encourage businesses to become a Safe Haven. They are looking for businesses that are willing to be a Safe Haven to help women with their onward journeys. Training to staff will be offered for free to enable the venue employees to feel confident in dealing with members of the public.
