Back To The Future - Planning For Tomorrow’s Workplace

Date

Time

1.00pm - 2.00pm

Overview

Presented by: David Maddison, Workspace Consultant, Abintra.

Are people really coming back to the office full time or is flexible working here to stay? Either way, how do managers and those responsible for corporate real estate and facilities plan for how much space and what kind they will need?

In this 1-hour webinar, David Maddison from space monitoring pioneers Abintra will look at understanding the modern workspace and demonstrate technologies and strategies to effectively plan and adapt to the changing work environment. David will share insights from Abintra’s work with major corporations and public sector organisations and argues that effective planning and management of the workspace should be built on sound data. David will also show how monitoring the office environment contributes to wellbeing at work, productivity, and staff retention.

The Windsor Agreement

Date

Time

10.00am - 11.00am

Overview

On 27 February 2023 the UK and EU agreed the Windsor Framework, providing a fundamentally new set of arrangements to restore the smooth flow of trade within the UK internal market; safeguard Northern Ireland’s place in the Union; and address the democratic deficit that was otherwise at the heart of the original Northern Ireland Protocol.

We are delighted that Stuart Anderson, Director of Public Affairs, Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce will be speaking at this practical webinar for exporters. Stuart will explain the rules and highlight the changes that exporters need to know. There will also be the opportunity for you to ask your questions.

Stuart leads NI Chamber’s direct interactions with politicians, helping to shape the legislative agenda and supporting elected representatives to create the right conditions for business and economic growth. He works directly with NI Chamber members in all sectors, identifying their challenges and bringing forward their ideas as part of a collaborative approach between industry and policy makers. A qualified lawyer, he is also the current Convenor of the Northern Ireland Business Brexit Working Group.
