LCCI SME Awards celebrates the best of London’s small business community

Friday 9 February 2024

LCCI’s SME London Awards on the 8 February 2024 celebrated the best of London’s small business community, at the Park Plaza London Riverbank hotel. Firms of up to 250 employees were invited to enter into 21 different categories ranging from best entrepreneur to best young business leader, with the chance of winning either the Gold or Silver in their chosen category and the potential to be crowned as overall winner of the LCCI SME Awards.

As the largest independent business community for SMEs in London, LCCI was delighted to support the SME awards and see so many of its members succeeding across the categories. London’s small business community has remained resilient in the face of economic and operational challenges in recent years and the winners represent the tip of the iceberg of the success, talent and dedication to be found amongst small businesses across the capital.

The overall winner, Recorra, and 17 other winners from across the categories will now proceed to the national finals with the chance of being crowned as Britain’s best small business.

Julia Onslow-Cole, Chair of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) said: “SMEs are the lifeblood of our city. As London’s biggest independent representative organisation for SMEs, we intrinsically understand the contribution they bring to London, making it the best city in the world to do business in.

“All of the awards at this year’s LCCI SME awards are a testament to the hard work, ingenuity and innovation that our winners have displayed. Special praise must go to our Overall Winner, Recorra, for the incredible boldness and imagination they have shown in running their business.

“These Awards highlight exemplars in our business community in enterprise, new businesses, innovation, diversity and growth and many more categories; we wish them well in the National Business Awards Grand Final in December. A huge congratulations to all of our winners and the thousands more who make this City so special.”
